 I wanted to thank you, your husband, and your wonderful crew of helpers for all the time you spent teaching

our Scouts on Saturday. I feel this was a huge step in their preparation for our cavalcade this summer and

I’m really glad we used your farm; you all did a fabulous job! After all the e-mails over the last several months,

it was also very nice to meet you in person.

We would like to thank Pastor Anet for his help with Wellgreen Farm's Christian Summer Camp!  He was there everyday with a devotion for us!  Thank you Pastor Anet!!!

 

Also a big thanks to the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church for their contribution of $50/student for scholarship $$$.  It is very much appreciated!!

 

 

 

 

We offer two kinds of camps......a Christian Camp or our regular Horseback Camp!  Both camps are educational and fun with safety in mind.  This past year we had a blast with the campers and the scouts who came at a separate time to obtain their Horsemanship Badge! Thank you all who were in attendance!  Now in it's 17 th year of teaching kids at all levels whether it be to trail ride or compete at local shows.

Private lessons and clinics are also available.

Our summer camp...

  • promotes horsemanship skills
  • building riding confidence ages 5 on up
  • teaches responsibility through care and handling of the horse
  • builds self-esteem and confidence
  • creates competent riders
  • is safe, fun, and educational

We also do some campground activities at Moraine View State Park if time allows.

Summer Camp Activities:  


  • 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM!!
  • Campers are expected to bring their own drink as lunch will be provided for.
  • Learn to groom, care for, tack up, and ride a horse at all levels (beginner, intermediate, & advanced)
  • Mount, dismount, exercises.
  • Basic riding skills (equitation, direct reining/neck reining, how to sit in the saddle, leg aids)
  • Emergency dismount procedures
  • Horse nutrition
  • Parts of an english saddle, western saddle and bridles.
  • The importance of a good horse shoer
  • Arena riding, trail riding skills
  • Horse Show for Family Members 1:00 p.m.Thursday!!!
  • Awards & Certificates Presented!!
  • Limited Spots Available Register Early!!
  • Due to the popularity of our camps, and only limited spots available, there will be no refunds issued. 
  • 15 students per day (9 am to 3 pm, Mon.-Thurs.)
    Pricing:  $400/for the 4 days of camp
